Ingredients
8 oz. uncooked pasta (such as penne, fusilli, or farfalle)
2cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
1cup milk
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4teaspoon dried basil
1/4teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine the uncooked pasta, broth, milk, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic, basil, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened, about 12-15 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the pasta rest for 2-3 minutes to allow the sauce to further thicken.
Serve the One-Pot Parmesan Pasta immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
